My theme is Plastic Waste (Jewellery). My intention with this theme is to create a jewellery collection that will incorporate plastic as a recyclable material. My jewellery pieces will include the use of recycled plastic bottle caps that are found on sidewalks or in rivers and streams in both the township areas and the central business district (CBD). My aim is to highlight the methods of working with plastic waste, through the various prototypes approach that I have done in this research.
